Attending Jacksonville University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management & Operations has been a life-changing opportunity, and it would not have been possible without the generous support of the Faith Lives scholarship.
Being awarded this scholarship means more than financial assistance. It's a life-changing gift that has opened doors I once thought were far out of reach. Aviation has always been my passion, and with your support, I am now able to fully immerse myself in a rigorous program that not only prepares me for a career in the skies but also equips me with the leadership, discipline, and technical skills I'll need to thrive in this dynamic industry.
Community, leadership, service.
Beyond the classroom, I've been actively involved in student organizations that align with both my professional goals and personal values. As a member of the Alpha Eta Rho aviation fraternity, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP), and the Latino Professionals in Airspace, I've had the incredible privilege of connecting with mentors, industry leaders, and peers who inspire me to reach higher.
These communities push me to grow, not only as a student but as a future professional dedicated to representing and uplifting others in the aerospace field.
I am also passionate about balance and personal growth outside of aviation. I've stayed active in Club Soccer, joined the Chess Club to sharpen my strategic thinking, and taken on responsibilities that help me give back to my campus community. As a Career Intern at the Career Design and Exploration office and a contributor to the Berwick Career Closet initiative, I've been able to support fellow students in their professional journeys, an experience that has strengthened my belief in the power of service and mentorship.

Every opportunity I've had this semester, from academic classes to organizational events, has been made possible because of the Faith Lives scholarship. Your investment in my education is more than a financial contribution; it's an investment in my dreams, my growth, and my ability to give back to my community.
I am deeply grateful for the confidence you've placed in me and for the doors this scholarship has opened. With this foundation, I am determined to continue excelling in my studies, contributing to the aviation industry, and one day mentoring the next generation of young professionals just as I have been mentored.
